Provisioning for Crew-Only ChartersIf you choose a crewed, all-inclusive charter, you do not have to worry about provisioning. We will take care of it for you. This contrasts with an all-costs-extra "crew-only" charter, where the Charterer is responsible for buying food, beverages and supplies for your party and the crew. Your crew-only charter boat includes utensils, knifes, cooking pots and pans, a blender, dishware, dishcloths, linens and towels. There is a three-burner propane range with a small oven, and a gas BBQ. Our refrigerator/freezer will keep food cold or frozen but space is restricted. In many cases, additional provisioning enroute is required. The following items are normally on-board to simplify your provisioning. Check with us if you need clarifications.
We recommend that you prepare a menu and a grocery list to expedite your shopping. However, expect that some items may not be available so you will need to be flexible. We can suggest places where you can shop. The initial provisioning should take half a day and you may have to visit more than one store. The food and beverage cost for two couples and the crew may vary from $800 (US) to $1200 per week depending on your tastes. What To Bring
An 1800-watt DC/AC inverter is available to recharge your electric
shaver, video camera and other items. We share our electric hair dryer
with our guests so you do not need to pack one. Please use soft
luggage such as duffle bags. Storage space is reduced and hard luggage
cannot be collapsed. |
